As an established Australian technology company, Orstead has been informally working in the IT recruitment business both internally and for our clients for over 10 years now, its just that we didn't know it. This year we have decided to launch officially into the field and establish a recruitment consulting arm of the company. Our expertise in this area is decidedly based on deep candidate analysis, not recruitment as a business. As such, our service offering scope is limited to IT Technical and Mid Level Management Roles, but we hope you'll agree, its very deep within this segment. We deliver our service more inline with a consulting offering, rather then straight recruitment and our overarching approach is simple,

Recuritment Services for Employers - 3 Step Process
Get to know your company - Its a well used phrase but from our experience, good cultural fit is one of the most important, if not the most important indicator for successful employment. We do this by coming out to see you.
1. Job Definition and Search - If your business needs help defining a role description, no problem. As mentioned before, we've been doing this part of the process for a long time now. This also applies to the candidate search, both advertised and from our own network and our young but growing, candidate database.
2. Initial Interviews and Rating - We undertake initial interviews with the candidates before making any recommendations. The interviews focus initially on candidate cultural fit and then move into very detailed, technically specific questions. This second part is effectively a test to determine the technical capabilities of a candidate and how well their skills match the specific job requirements. This is one of the key aspects that differentiates our service, as Orstead at its core is a technical consulting business.
3. Analysis and Recommendations - At this stage, and assuming the candidate passes the "would we employ them at Orstead" test, we undertake all reference checks and then send through short summaries and ratings of candidate(s) that we think you may be interested in. We also provide 60 second introductory videos interviews for each candidate that we plan on progressing.
Service Levels - as a new arm of our business, you will be over-serviced.
